yes dr balasuramaniun I foung many of the cases died from visceral gout, but I always fail to isolate IB nephro type virus.
So cause may or may not be IB virus.
Thank you. TDS in the water and salt level in the feed were checked and the results is alright esp. salt level below the recommended level.
Please check for TDS and Na content in the drinking water allowed to birds and adjust Salt content in the feed to maintain Sodium intake below permissible level.

I would suggest that you send a feed sample in to check that the CA/Phos. levels are where you think they are. Do you use Mono cal or di cal?
Alupurinol has been used in human as an anti gout therapy........It blocks the accumuletion of uric acid crystals in the system...Crush the tabs....mix with .feed.................& top dress the feed with dose adjustment........

Hardness of water, ochratoxin and history IBD outbreak are not the problem. However I'll try to acidify the drinking water. More technical information regarding aluprinol is required.
